The alpine village of Ellmau is located at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. Covering an area of 92.6945 km², the nature reserve Kaisergebirge is vital to the preservation of the special diversity of our flora and fauna.

Especially in summer, the untouched mountains are a pleasure for hikers. Ellmau has also been awarded the Austrian Hiking Seal, which is considered a benchmark for the quality of hiking experiences in Austria.

Families with children will find seven lovingly designed mountain adventure worlds in Ellmau and the surrounding villages, open from May to October. They offer a diverse and varied program for recreation and play in our beautiful nature.
