Whether by car, bus, train or plane - however you want to get to us - the journey is easy in summer and winter. Ellmau is only about 20 minutes away from the nearest train stations and from the motorway exits “Kufstein” and “Wörgl”.

Car:

From D, NL, B, DK – Motorway Munich – Rosenheim – Kufstein – Exit Kufstein Süd - Ellmau.

From I, CH - Motorway Brenner/Innsbruck - Wörgl - Exit Wörgl Ost - Ellmau.

In Ellmau take the exit Ellmau Mitte and go approx. 100m towards the village center. Our house can be easiliy reached in winter without snow chains.

Train (travellers who arrive by train get our eco bonus):

Kufstein station (25 km), Wörgl station (25 km), St. Johann in Tirol station (10 km) – Bus to Ellmau.  If you arrive by train, we will gladly organize a transfer from the train stations Wörgl, Kufstein or St. Johann.

From the stations you can take the regional bus (directly from Wörgl and St.Johann, with one change in Söll from Kufstein). Here are the current timetables:

Linie 4060: to St. Johann in Tirol and Wörgl and return
Linie 4006: to Kitzbühel and return
Linie 4902: from Kufstein to Söll and return

Plane:

Munich Airport (ca. 160 km), Salzburg Airport and Innsbruck airport (each approx. 90km). From the airport, you can continue by train to Kufstein/Wörgl/St.Johann and then by bus, or you can go by airport transfer or with a rental car.
