The alpine village of Ellmau is located at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. Covering an area of 92.6945 km², the nature reserve Kaisergebirge is vital to the preservation of the special diversity of our flora and fauna.

In winter, the impressive mountains are difficult to access for hikers and mountaineers, the huts and shelters are mostly closed. Nevertheless, even in winter, nature lovers can get their money's worth here. Ski tours and snowshoe hikes are among the very special highlights. But never underestimate the alpine dangers and best be guided by experienced mountain guides.

Families with children will find a varied program for fun and play in nature in Ellmau and the surrounding villages. In each village there are slopes specially designed for children. The toboggan runs also promise action and joy.

The Kaiserbad Ellmau invites you to warm up in the warm water or in the spacious sauna area after skiing or when there is bad weather.
